Sistani On Gays

The moderating force in Iraqi Islam, the major leader of the Shiite majority, on what should be the fate of gays and lesbians:

"The people involved should be killed in the worst, most severe way of killing."

  1. Iraq never used to have people who would support people like that...they do now.

    The guy from Outrage said:“We hold Sistani personally responsible for the murder of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Iraqis. He gives the killers theological sanction and encouragement.”

    That's not right. If anyone does kill gays it won't be some religious weirdo's fault - it's the fault of the person whodoes the murder. Words don;t kill.
